I am self taught and have a talent I was born with. Painting animals came easily to me. But I love fantasy. I often combine the two in my work. I started using acrylic when I found the oils too much for my health. I will paint on many untraditional canvases. I love the challenge: stone, birch bark, feathers, glass, metal, wood, leaves....anything that doesn't move away from me may feel the touch of my brush! Even at my age, I find my horizons are limitless, and will eagerly try new and wonderful art experiences. See less
